Ultrasonography

Ultrasonography

Ultrasound (also called sonography or ultrasonography) is a noninvasive imaging test. An ultrasound picture is called a sonogram. Ultrasound uses high-frequency sound waves to create real-time pictures or video of internal organs or other soft tissues, such as blood vessels. This imaging can reveal important information about internal processes including the circulatory, skeletal and gastrointestinal systems, helping identify disease, blockages and internal injury. We work in collaboration with a board-certified radiologist, Dr. Kristina Simone of Cypress Veterinary Imaging to help make sure your pet receives the highest standard of care. We are happy to offer this here in our clinic to help make it more convenient for our clients and comfortable for our patients.
