What brought you into the animal field?
I began my veterinary journey volunteering at an animal shelter on Hilton Head Island. I continued gaining experience in veterinary medicine as a Client Service Representative at BluePearl Pet Hospital. These experiences helped strengthen my passion for working with animals and supporting their families.
What certifications or special training do you have?
I am a Penn Foster student and Fear Free Certified, with a focus on helping pets feel as comfortable and safe as possible during their veterinary visits.
Where are you from, and where have you been?
I grew up in Charleston, South Carolina, and am originally from Beaufort. I’ve had the opportunity to visit many places throughout the United States, but one of my favorite things to do is visit family in Mexico and enjoy my favorite dishes while I’m there!
Do you have pets?
I have five dogs and counting! My pack includes Corazon, a Chihuahua; Milo, a Brittany Spaniel; Guapo, a Lab mix; Canela, a Beagle; and Charlie, a German Shepherd. I also have farm animals and two lovebirds, so there is never a dull moment at home!
What are your hobbies and interests?
I love spending time at the beach soaking up the sun and trying new restaurants. Exploring new places through food is one of my favorite ways to discover something new.
